Chapter 307
Despite her young age, Mabel was as cunning as they came and was capable of saying things that could infuriate anyone.
Jenna's complexion immediately stiffened. "Of course, that's not what I meant, Mabel. You misunderstood me."
"I didn't misunderstand. Aunt Jenna, if you're already so disgusted with me now, will you just abandon me if you marry my daddy in the future?"
Jenna was shocked. "Mabel, who told you such things? Have I ever treated you poorly when your father wasn't home? I've given you whatever you wanted and bought you so many dolls and dresses."
"I never asked you to buy them! And those dresses were all ugly. I threw them all away."
"You threw them all away?" Jenna was on the verge of exploding with anger. She turned to Clark and stomped her foot. "Clark, how can she be like this toward me?"
Clark said, "Why are you arguing with a child? Wasn't everyone waiting?" With that, he carried Mabel into the house.
Mabel grinned over his shoulder at Jenna. "Nyah nyah nyah."
