A pink hairpin was left by her mother. Memories surged as she held it, and her once clear eyes darkened.
Over the years, she had been enduring, all for revenge against Eleanor and Celeste who killed her mother.
"Cordelia, quickly take what you need to pack and leave. Mom said, since you're married, this room will be my dressing room," Celeste said with a disdainful and proud tone.
Cordelia's eyes darkened, and she chuckled. "Sure, my mom used to sleep in this room with me. When you move in, remember to chat with her a lot."
Celeste's face turned pale, and she gritted her teeth. "Cordelia, are you trying to scare me?"
