Chapter 49
Eero’s perspective
Serra was choking on her tears after the delta finally left her alone.
“Luna Eero,” he greeted me after locking Serra’s cell, and then walked back to his post. I saw Serra lying on the filthy floor of the dungeon, covering her nakedness.
My wolf felt satisfied. I had finally avenged my poor self.
From where I was standing, I could see tears falling from her eyes.
“I hoped you had finally learned your lesson,” I said to her.
“Did you really think you’re punishing me and teaching me a lesson by asking the delta to rape me?” Serra asked.
Serra chuckled. I couldn't fathom where she got the audacity to laugh at me.
“Okay. You might have sated yourself with this punishment, but you’ve also proven that I am right.”
I remained silent, waiting for her to continue.
“You are not an angel, Eero. You are a monster, hiding underneath the cloak of your surfaced-level righteousness. But finally, you are showing your true self, a vicious and sly beast.”
