Eero's perspective
Miguel softly, and gently shoved the annulment paper on my hand. He looked around in search of a particular item and when his eyes spotted it. Miguel's feet quickly brought him to it.
"A pen?" He said, showing it to me. A bitter smile stretched on the corner of my lips before it became a chuckle.
"What's the rush? Hmm? You can be honest with me. Did you already find your fated mate and you can't wait to be with her?" I joked.
Miguel sat across me after he put the pen next to the annulment paper.
"I would have loved it if that's the reason why I'm asking you to annul our marriage now, but, sadly, no. That isn't the reason." He comfortably sat on his chair and manspread his legs.
I pulled the paper closer to me and I signed. I didn't know that I was holding my breath until I sighed after signing the paper. I looked thoroughly at my signature before I deposited my eyes to Miguel, who'll be my ex-husband in a few weeks, or months.
