Chapter 138 Bumping into Him

Jason was rendered speechless but didn't make a big deal out of it. He turned around and walked back. When he walked past Charlotte's room, he turned to look over but found that a no-disturb sign had been put up. He paused in his tracks, wondering how much of the conversation she just heard. Inside the room, Charlotte covered herself in the quilt, hating herself for putting up the no-disturb sign. She had been feeling desperate, and now she felt worse. Jason did not take the initiative to meet her after this day. He just sent a message informing her that they would need to have dinner at a certain restaurant tomorrow evening. She would be available during the day. Charlotte woke up the next day and saw the message, but she threw the phone to the side, staring blankly at the dazzling sunlight outside the window. Somehow, she felt some aggression. She held back her emotions, suddenly got up, and quickly cleaned up. After checking the collection of exhibitions she had made, she made
