He led me towards the river, and I followed silently behind him until we reached the dock. A small boat was floating on the river just beside the dock with a rope tied on it, to stop it from floating away. It was a small rowboat, enough to only carry two people. Adam stepped into the boat first and placed the two paddles on the seat at his side and held my hand to balance myself until I seated in front of him. His warm hands touched my cold skin. My sheer dress doesn't do much to keep me warm from the strong cold breeze and my hair keeps flying to my face because I only chose to braid a part of my hair. He told me that I'm wearing the perfect outfit today, but it seems that he's only saying that so I don't have to feel bad and go back to my room to change.
