Brianna’s POV
Rogue invited me to dinner but I refused. I know I owe him one dinner but I’m not really in the mood today. Cain confuses me plus I just had a long day with the reporters. I want to take a long rest.
“Drive safely, Bree. Goodnight,” Rogue said while smiling after he closed the door of my car.
I nodded and smiled at him. “Thanks, Rogue. We’ll have dinner some other time. I’m really sorry.”
“No problem. I understand.”
I nodded again and started the engine. He waved at me as I drove away until he disappeared from my sight. I felt so exhausted again when I got home. I was staring at the ceiling as I caressed my lips, remembering the intense kiss I shared with Rogue when my phone vibrated. A smile crept on my lips after I received a text message from Rogue, updating me that he’s home.
I was about to type my reply when I felt something twitched inside my heart. I want to be with him. I really want to be with him but why does it feel so wrong?
