James cast a fleeting glance at her, "Everybody knows. Even you, who barely pays attention to the news, know about it, right?"
Stacey was speechless.
"James, just give Nicholas the straight dope. If he can handle it, that's on him. If he's dead set on treatment, just do the usual," Stacey said, her voice sharp and frosty.
"Got it," James nodded.
"If there's nothing else, I need to bounce," Stacey said, her voice as emotionless as a robot's.
"Charlotte, that Madam Green heard you're still in Zephyria. She asked me to find you. She's asking for you to do surgery for her, and you can name your price," James said.
"Heh." Stacey snorted, "Tell the Greens I wouldn't do it for all the money in the world."
The Green family - she would never have anything to do with them again in this lifetime!
James knew better than to try and force her, "Alright, I'll pass along the message."
Stacey turned on her heel and left.
She hit the road to the Burton Group.
