"What are you standing there for? Stay alert!" Derek urged urgently.
Kayn didn't care about himself one bit, but he couldn't afford for Stacey to get hurt.
Kayn frowned and walked over to the window, looking outside.

Kayn's expression grew serious. "If this continues, Eden's people might find out!"
"They won't know," a deep, cold, magnetic voice suddenly came through the phone.
Kayn froze. "Conor?"
"I don't want more of your people to get hurt. Just lay down your weapons," Conor said coldly.
"Conor, you know you're making a huge scene..." Kayn couldn't hold back any longer.
