Stacey told Derek to go back first.
She planned to have a meal with Diana.
Derek was speechless. "But I haven't eaten yet."
Stacey glanced at him. "Missing one meal won't kill you! You eat too well usually, and your stomach is full of grease. Skipping a meal will be like intermittent fasting and might even help you lose weight."
"Stacey, don't you have any conscience?" Derek retorted. "Feel my abs—they're rock solid, and even Conor can't compare."
"Have some self-respect," Stacey shot back. "Conor's are better than yours."
"You're biased!" Derek fumed.
Stacey dragged Diana to the car, leaving Derek behind.
Derek chased after them for a few steps. "Stacey!"
Tony, standing behind Derek, smiled faintly. "You two have a great relationship."
"Great my foot!" Derek snapped. "She just likes to irritate me. As a cousin, I'm even less favored than a stranger!"
