Smart froze.
She was unable to argue.
"Fine, I'll come and meet you," she finally said, swayed by Jonathan's persistence.
She put down the backpack and walked out.
Sally glanced at her but didn't stop her.
Smart took the elevator down to the lobby.
Jonathan was waiting on a sofa.
"Smart," Jonathan greeted her as he stood up.
"Mr. Stewart, hello," Smart said, walking over.
Jonathan smiled. "Stacey said you're like a sister to her, so there's no need to be so formal. Just call me Jonathan."

"Okay, Jonathan. How's Ron been these past few days?" Smart asked, feeling awkward.
Jonathan sighed and then said helplessly, "Shall we find somewhere to sit and talk?"
"Alright," Smart nodded.
They went to a nearby café. Jonathan ordered a black coffee for himself and a strawberry juice for Smart.
