Chapter 164: He Might Not Be My Real Father
Conor got his room key from the receptionist, Stacey hanging off his arm as they headed for the elevator.
Matthew watched them leave, a strange look in his eyes.
Brysen told him, "Hang tight, Mr. Brooks. I'll find the right time for you."
"Hurry up. Time's running out," Matthew said.
Brysen nodded, looking a bit nervous.
He hadn't thought Conor was going to show up, and this surprise had mucked up their plans.
Now, over to Conor and Stacey...
They made it to their room, a big suite filled with soft, inviting light.
Stacey walked around the room, her smile growing as she checked out their fancy digs. "This place is pretty sweet," she said.
She thought Conor was behind her, but when she looked around, he was gone.

She searched the room and finally found him in a little courtyard attached to the suite.
This courtyard wasn't just for chilling.
It had a little pool filled with warm spring water, definitely meant for taking a dip.
