Chapter 255 Peril in the Mountains
The little creature was surprisingly well-behaved, allowing me to handle it without a hint of fear or aggression. It just blinked its eyes, staring at me intently. I chuckled and shook my head, bringing it back to the room.

The flying squirrel made a squeaky sound in response. I lay down slowly, relaxed my body, and drifted back into slumber.

The remaining drowsiness instantly dissipated as I turned my head alertly to find the flying squirrel. I was momentarily stunned, then relaxed my guard.
