Baron
“One month.” The words whispered in his mind as he stood outside the door to what Talia had called the nursery.
"You can't be allowed," one of the old sisters had told him a week ago. So all he could do was stand.
"Baron," Gabriel called beside him. "Stop. Here is the sentence," he said, handing him his tablet. After reading the content, Baron said, "Let's go."
"How long is the trip again?" Gabriel asked with a groan as the car was started.
"About three hours," Baron answered. "Give or take the amount of time there, I would say around seven hours. We'll be back before nightfall since we're leaving this early," Baron said as the car was started, and they drove to the closest small tribe from the North.
Once the meeting was concluded with the Elders, Baron couldn't help but feel strange. He looked back in the direction of the castle.
"Talia," he whispered.
"What is it?" Gabriel asked him as they left the small hall where they had just concluded the meeting.
