"So tell me," the pretty seer said as she stared at me from top to bottom.
"What should I tell you?" I asked her, unable to help my confusion.
"You're the one that came here," I said, protesting.
"Oh, that," she said. "But you came here, and I want to know your intentions."
"I said repeating her and at the same time not understanding the question. "Subtlety," I thought to myself. She was subtle, or at least she knew how to be.
"I was brought here against my will," I said to her. "So if we can want to go by that, then why am I here? I would much rather be somewhere else."
The woman started laughing. "I understand the way your pack works is very different from the way I was raised," she said, walking over to my window and looking outside.
