Her every step crunched against the frozen ground, the only sound amid the frozen wilderness. The creatures she followed glided effortlessly across the icy terrain, their pale blue skin blending seamlessly into the landscape. They moved with a grace that defied the harsh conditions, their white hair flowing like silken threads, and their purple eyes glowing faintly beneath the dim, overcast sky.
Morgana had been trailing these beings—whom she had dubbed "Snow Folk"—for what felt like days. Time seemed to warp in this place. The sun never truly rose or set, and the sky remained trapped in a twilight, devoid of the moon's guiding light. This strange land seemed to defy the natural order, and Morgana’s sense of time had frayed into a blur of endless gray.
