Days were becoming repetitive. Stefano had noticed, and he hated it.
"It's not as though your wife left you for your meter's gone," his friend said, still as quiet as he found himself. "I'm the only one worried about the moon as well," he said as he drowned in a swig of whiskey.
"Unfortunately," his friend said.
Tyler was one of those he had, but not as close as Frederick. "Why does it bother you so much?" Tyler asked quickly.
"How many times do I have to say this?" Stefano asked, his hands raised. "Maybe it's because you're trying to convince yourself of something that was not through," he said.
"And what is not true?" Stefano probed.
"I don't know," raising his hand, "You know how they call werewolves like you?" Stefano lowered his voice.
"What?" Tyler asked, looking genuinely interested. "He would be disappointed," Stefano thought to himself. "Chicken," he said after a few moments of silence just to build the anticipation.
