Uncertainties flooded his mind. But he knew one thing: his sister was not wicked. His sister was sweet. "You'll make a wonderful Luna," he said, smiling.
"Um, I really need to hurry up and find myself one of these days," he said.
"Why?" Talia asked. "Why the sudden need to do that?"
"I don't know," he said, shrugging. "Maybe it's because I feel like I have no time. It's strange," he said. "But I'm sure I'll be fine," he said after a moment of thinking about it.
"Are you sure?" his sister asked, her worried voice filling his ears, making him suddenly miss their mother.
"Yeah," he said with a smile, hoping she could see him. "One more thing," he said before she could hang up. "Talia," he called out, "are you keeping something from me?"
"Why would you think that?" she shot back at him.
"Because the last time I tried to talk to you, you hung up. I wanted to ask if there was something you wanted to tell me from before."
"Like what?" she asked him.
