Chapter Thirty Seven
I hated the Sun. At this moment, when the sun was shining brightly outside, I hated it. When Killian left me behind bleeding without a word I ran. I ran up the stairs opened the door and laid in our bed. Nana Helen tried to get me to come out but I couldn’t do it. I felt numb, my limbs refused to move. I was still stuck in time.
He didn’t come back. Even when the Sun set and the moon came out Killian didn’t come back. I waited and waited in our bed, hoping that he’ll show up and hug me, tell me he was sorry and that he loves me. Then we’d spend the whole night talking just him and me.
There was a knock on the door. It was the fifth time today. It wasn’t Andrew, he didn’t bother to knock, and he never knocked. Killian often sent him to pick up a couple of his clothes, he’d just stare at me and ask if I’m doing okay. I’d never reply, I’d just stare out of the window. Philip on the other head was always by the door, he often never left and when he did it was because Andrew had to convince
