Killian hadn’t left my side for a second. There were people attempting to come towards us but almost always were kept back by Andrew and Philip. Philip had taken up the role of the mighty protector of the Luna almost too well. Wherever Kilian and I wondered if he was there, Andrew would sometimes get stolen away by a few unknown people who wanted to talk politics.
By the time people were taking their places on the large table to enjoy their meals, I had a headache and Killian had been swooped away by a council member to talk about treaties, leaving me alone with a not so enthusiastic Aurora and Philip, who was as still and rigid as a statue and still as one too.
"Hello, there. I love your dress." An old lady stood next to us. I had not even noticed her approach. I had been too focused on Aurora’s rant as to why she could not stand the place.
