Chapter Twenty Two
It was too late for me to take Killian's offer to join him in the councils meeting so instead I was stuck with Aurora. One hour with her and I was almost having a mental breakdown from all the information that was being pressed into the side of my brain.
She hasn't stopped talking yet. She had gone on and on about floral patterns, modern and farm aesthetics and a bunch of more than random things I hadn't been paying attention too.
"You're not listening," she whined pitifully. In her defense I truly wasn't I was stuck in my own little world of make belief.
"Sorry, I just don't get all of this.its confusing." It wasn't a lie but it hadn't been the truth either. Aurora wasn't the best at explaining things, I did understand where she was going with her grand schemes but the added details made my head hurt just trying to understand what she truly meant.
"Maybe we should walk around and see what would work where."
