“Ethan, are you spying on me again?” Emily frowned deeply and glared at him angrily.
“I saw it from the balcony just now. Is that considered spying?” Ethan’s face was dark, and his voice was icy cold.
Emily felt a wave of relief. She had feared that Ethan might be going back on his word.
But her lingering anger remained, and she replied directly, “I’ve told you before that Emily Conner and Alexander are both friends of mine. He was just giving me a ride home. What’s the big deal? If it bothers you so much, you don’t have to stay with me.”
