When the car window was fully open, Tessa called out, "Matthew—"
But she stopped mid-sentence when she saw Rachel in the car. After all, she had only been expecting Matthew.
Dumbstruck, Tessa couldn't bring herself to say the lines she had prepared.
Matthew's expression turned grim. "Get out of my face."
