Matthew sported an apologetic look. "Something happened in my family a while back, and we lost touch. Could you tell me where Tony lives?"
The convenience store owner pointed southeast. "It's the last house in the southeast of the village. There are two dogwood trees in the yard, and the place looks pretty rundown. You can't miss it."
Matthew waved goodbye to her and grabbed his cigarettes and lighter before leaving.
