Dan's face was filled with disbelief as he spoke. To him, Anna daring to push open that door was sheer madness. What if Dr. Campbell was still inside? "Don't worry, Dan. Anna wondered, puzzled. "Maybe Dr. Campbell left while things were chaotic," Dan speculated beside her. Anna could barely hide her disappointment.
