Chapter 466
Nicholas was carrying a backpack while holding three blankets in his arms. As he walked, he kept up a running commentary on his surroundings to the camera.
"The air in the mountains is great. You can even see the stars," he said before telling the cameraman, whose name was Duncan Whitaker, "Raise the camera a bit and let everyone have a look as well. Don't they look especially pretty?
"I'm always in the city. Occasionally, it's nice to return to the countryside and experience nature."
The camera focused back on him again. He was just about to continue introducing the audience to his surroundings when he saw Duncan almost trip and fall while trying to back away.
"Be more careful," he admonished lightly.
As he helped him up, he noticed that Duncan was trembling slightly. When he looked over, he saw that Duncan was frighteningly pale.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
Duncan's lips trembled even as he looked at his own camera. "T-There was something there."
