After sending off the last wave of guests, she sat soundlessly on the couch, staring dazedly at the mountain-high pile of gifts. Rebecca sat beside her, just as silent.
The neatly arranged gifts, which nearly took up the entire living room, felt like a heavy slap in their faces.
"Pack up these gifts and label them by family," Harvey instructed David. "I'll send them all to Deatropolis later on."
