Stephen pouted. "What else could it be?"
Sara sighed and said earnestly, "Steph, don't blame me for being overly concerned, but I can tell that girl is not from an ordinary family. She's out of our league.
"You're an adult now, so I'm not going to stop you from dating. But you need to be realistic about things. Don't get caught up in a dream, only to end up hurting yourself in the end."
Stephen nodded and replied, "Mom, I know what I'm doing."
Sara rolled her eyes. "Like hell you do. Bailey is so beautiful, I don't believe you won't get swept away."
What could Stephen say? Mothers always knew best.
