As I stepped into the empty apartment, a wave of nostalgia washed over me. The walls seemed to echo with memories of Damien—his laughter, his warmth, his touch. But it was time to let go.
I couldn't bear to stay here any longer, surrounded by reminders of a love that had crumbled into dust. With a heavy sigh, I made up my mind to sell the apartment and start afresh.
I reached for my phone and dialed Charles' number. "Hey, Charles," I greeted him as he picked up. "I've made a decision. I'm going to sell the apartment."
