OLIVIA'S POV "...I've always regarded you as my most respected senior." Serena's voice bounced from the ceiling to the walls of the office, clearly agonized. She had been facing me directly before but now, her side was to me with her hands over her face. At first, it seemed like some expensive joke but then, she was sniffling loudly amidst heavy breaths. That was when I realized that what I said had upset her or at least, she pretended to be upset. "Oh no, Serena! That's not what I meant. I'm sorry it came out that way." I quickly apologized, seeing that the matter was slowly escalating. It felt funny that they had all been bullying me just a while back, but here she was in front of me, whimpering like a wounded dog, like a helpless toddler over something that wouldn't warrant such behaviour from anybody else.
