Olivia's POV
I sat across from Damien, frustration simmering within me. "Damien, we can't continue like this. The company needs your full commitment."
He glanced up from his desk, a hint of irritation in his eyes. "I've got things under control, Olivia. There's no need to micromanage."
I leaned forward, determined. "You're hardly here, and when you are, it's only for a couple of hours. The workload is piling up, and I can't manage it all alone."
Damien sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I have personal matters to attend to. You know how it is."
"That's not an excuse, Damien. You're the CEO, and the company needs a leader who's present, not one who's constantly absent."
He raised an eyebrow. "Are you threatening me?"
I shook my head. "I'm not threatening. I'm telling you the reality. If you don't step up, I won't defend you the next time they try to impeach you."
He looked genuinely surprised. "You wouldn't defend me?"
