Olivia and Mary had been living like recluses for almost a month.
Then, on a bitterly cold day, Olivia sat with a thick newspaper in her hands, flipping through pages again and again. During this time, she'd searched every TV channel, trying to find any trace of what had happened a month before. But no matter how often she looked, there was nothing.
She didn't rely only on TV, either. She also searched online on her phone, but not a single clue turned up. It was as if that day had been a dream. If Olivia wasn't certain she was still alive, she might have believed she'd died that day, since everything that happened had vanished without a trace.
