My wolf started howling inside, reminding me of what we both saw. Even though it was none of my freaking business, seeing how blood drizzled out of Everleigh's hands shook me in anger.
The way she bit her lips to keep herself silent and how she silently asked me to leave without creating any more trouble for her.
At the end of the day, I felt as if it was my fault she got hurt. I already assumed her pack members didn't treat her well. But if it weren't for me, those guys wouldn't have pressed her hands to the broken, sharp glasses.
I knew I didn't have the ability to get revenge on those two guys. I was from another pack, and it wasn't my place to do so. Though my body itched to see them bleeding to death on the ground, I couldn't do it. All I could do was shake in anger.
"Where did you disappear to alpha??" Kavin asked me as soon as he barged into my room.
