“What’s your name?” I asked the boy when I saw him after he had showered.
“My name is Alessandro,” he said with a shy look on his face.
“Well, hello,” I said, smiling at him. “It’s lovely to meet you. Did that person say anything?” I asked, referring to the god who had held him captive.
He shook his head. “I didn’t see anybody. I just heard a voice,” he said.
“And what did this voice say?” I asked him.
“The voice said that I should surrender,” Alessandro replied.
“Was the voice human? Was it like us? Did another Omega—if you're going to cause another war—?” I asked.
I shook my head at all his questions. “No, it’s not an Omega. Hardly, in fact,” I added. “What is it then?” I asked, sitting beside him on the couch.
“That is a god,” I said. Alessandro’s eyes widened. “A god of what?” he asked.
