"You haven't talked to him yet," Sky said two days after William's glowing eyes. "And he hasn't spoken to me yet either," I said, meeting my mate's gaze. "I know it's hard, but you have to do it," Sky said with a smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
"But why do I have to?" I questioned. "It's not fair that all of this is on me," I said with a pout.
"I understand," Sky said, placing a comforting hand on my shoulder. "But you are his mother. He loves you. He trusts you. Anything you say will make sense to him. Just say it in a nice way," Sky said with a strange glint in his eyes.
"That sounds strangely wicked," I muttered, and then walked over to where William was playing by himself.
"William, we need to talk," I began, trying to keep my voice steady.
He looked up at me, his eyes wide and apprehensive. "Did I do something wrong, mama?"
