We waited. At least, that was what Dominic said we would do.
"Dominic, it's a bad idea," my mate told him while I struggled to find a comfortable position on the couch.
Tyra rubbed my belly as though it would soothe me, but it only made things worse.
"The rogues aren't stopping. They're not going south; they're coming here. So it's not about a winter problem—they're coming straight for us. Perhaps if we move our scattered forces and focus on the borders, we could at least do something to muster up the remaining forces by the time they get here."
"I still don't think we have anything to worry about," Dane said. I fought the urge to yawn every time I heard his voice.
"And why do you think so?" Dominic asked him.
"They could easily change their path at any time. I really don't think we have much to worry about, Alpha. This is just speculation. They could very well be heading for another territory."
My mate rolled his eyes.
"Would you like to say something, Gregory?" Alpha
