Marianne.
As much as I hated to admit it, this bed was largely comforting. I swore not to sleep all through the night but barely a few minutes resting on it and I was already a goner.
I stretched my arms wide before leaving the bed for the curtains and as I spread it, I was showered with the morning rays of Black Rose Pack. The view was almost similar to my Pack, where I would be entertained by the beauty of the buildings and a few wolves hopping around in the woods.
I could have smiled but remembering that I was abducted here was enough to drain that tiny joy. A gentle knock graced my door causing me to turn backwards. Genevieve sauntered inside flashing me a cheerful smile as if she was elated to see me. In a way, she reminded me of Gertrude but I wasn’t going to be a fool to be swayed by her antics. I refuse to trust anyone here.
“Good morning, Marianne,” she chirped.
“Morning, Genevieve,” I beamed.
“Should I be grateful that you didn’t try to run away over the night?”
