Valine bid goodbye to the woman she was talking to. Dimitri left her side a moment ago and a part of her was glad he did because he had been stuck with her since they came up here, maybe because of her sudden panic earlier. And she doesn't want to ruin the day for him by simply looking out for her. She navigated through the cheerful crowd, the excitement in the air was palpable. Laughter, chatter, and the delightful aroma of food filled the atmosphere. She was engrossed in observing the pack members' interactions, her curiosity piqued by the lively ambiance. While looking around, Valine accidentally bumped into a little girl who was holding a melting ice cream cone. The collision caused the ice cream to topple from the cone, landing on the ground in a gooey mess. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" Valine exclaimed, her heart sinking as she saw the disappointment in the little girl's eyes. The child looked up at Valine with sadness, almost about to cry, her lower lip quivering slightly.
