Rabid Wolves
Ashley.
I was busy wiping out crumbs at the back of my fridge with a cloth when a knock sounded at my door. “That was quick,” I murmured to myself and quickly got up, closing the door of the small fridge and headed for the door.
I placed down the cloth and threw my hair over my shoulder, then made sure my sweater was still decent. When I pulled open the door, I couldn’t help gape in surprise at the delivery man.
“Oh, hi. You’re not…” My eyes fell on the bags he held out with a polite smile.
“We’ve been asked to deliver these to you.”
“I…” my gaze fell back on the bags, spotting a few cans of canned fish in there. I took the bag from the delivery guy and peered inside, noting a serviette with something scribbled on it. I pulled it out to read and snorted a laugh, nodding at the delivery man.
“I guess these are meant for me after all. Thank you.”
The delivery man turned, then stopped, twisting back to face me and holding a finger up. “Oh, yeah. I was asked to pass you a message.”
“Yeah?”
