Henry turned to her wide-eyed. He straightened his back but still kept his hand behind him. "Hmmm?"
"Is there any problem?" Cecilia repeated her question.
Henry blinked before clearing his throat. Little beads of sweat began to gather on his forehead. "Oh, that!" He feigned realization: "Oh, yes, yes. That was work, you know, like I told you earlier. I will just..."
Henry pointed to the gate to emphasize his next word, "...leave, to work."
"Hmmm..." Cecilia didn't believe him.
He laughed awkwardly again and said, "I will go to work, but when I'm free next time, we will meet up again." It was a fib to cover the awkward tension that had taken over the air. Plus, he was on a break; he had no work to go to at that point. It's not like someone will tell her I'm on a break.
