Chapter 163: PIERCING AGONY
"Don't say anything. I just want to see you. I really miss you, Elsa," Edward whispered as he pulled Xina closer, burying his face in the crook of her shoulder.
He had to be crazy. Had Edward finally lost his mind?
"I am not Elsa!" Xina cried, trying to wrench herself free, but even in this bizarre dream, their difference in strength was undeniable. She could only wish for a day when she might overpower these supernatural beings, these zamudas and their sheer, terrifying strength. "What are you doing?!"
Panic surged through Xina’s veins as Edward held her intimately, his presence suffocating and his touch unwelcome.
"I miss you," Edward's breath was cold against Xina’s ear as his lips trailed down her neck, making her skin crawl.
His touch was wrong, foreign, as though some primal instinct warned her of the danger he represented. She needed to get away from him, but how could she escape when she was powerless, locked in this twisted dream of his?
"Stop doing this! I am not Elsa!"
