“What does that mean?” she said, her tone cautious. “What nonsense are you sprouting?”
“I will send you the document read though it,” Mercy said.
“No, tell me. Tell me now,” Vivian said.
Mathew watched as Vivian’s expression shifted from confusion to surprise, before turning fierce.
“You father had something that belonged to the organization. When he died, he kept it hidden. We found a safe of your father’s that has been transferred to you. So, I have made a deal. You and over the safe and you are free,” Mercy said and Vivian paused and looked lost.
“How do I know you are not messing with me?” She asked.
“Come over tomorrow and sign it over,”
“Tomorrow?” Vivian repeated.
“This your only chance. Take it or not, it is up to you,” Mercy said and ended the call.
Seeing her standing there slightly lost, Mathew came over.
“What was that about?” he asked, his tone guarded. He saw the look on her face. Something was wrong.
