If he lost his memory, how was she supposed to pay for this VIP treatment? “I don’t recall being married,” he said and she sighed in relief. “Don’t scare me,” she said and walked over to the table on the corner and took a bottle of water from it and took a swing. “Don’t worry too much about the wife thing. They wanted to call the police with I brought you in and I said it was a home accident. They kept asking so I said we had a shooting ring at home. Somehow it developed to us being married,” “You are not a good liar, are you?” Marcus asked, “How does your excuse go haywire?” “I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to see the police,” she said “Why?” His eyes narrowed. He suspected that she was from a rival family. Why would she weave such a scenario? What did she want to get out of this situation?
