Two minutes later Jane realised that her struggles were in vain against Alex's immense strength. So she could only surrender obediently, and while Alex let go of her lips and kissed her collarbone, Jane weakly uttered, "Alex , why the rush? I'm not refusing you. Let me go and take a shower first, and we can continue later." It was a delaying tactic. Jane didn't really want to take a bath. She just wanted to take the opportunity to escape from Alex 's grasp.
