"Enough, if you don’t know how to speak properly, then just don’t say anything," Caro's voice carried a tone of impatience, and his words instantly doused the lively atmosphere like a cold bucket of water.
By this time, the crowd in the room had gradually dispersed. Caro turned his head, scanning the people around him, then said, "Let's head back now." His voice hinted at exhaustion, as if he was tired of the earlier joking around.
Everyone nodded in agreement and began to leave. They walked out, chatting and laughing as if the awkward moment earlier had already been forgotten.
As they reached the stairwell, Caro pushed open the door. At that very moment, a bucket suddenly fell from above, plummeting straight toward Caro.
