CHAPTER 59: TOUGH GIRL ZONE

"Oh, thank God!" Cecilia muttered with relief when the clock finally struck six. The day had gone on longer than she wanted, and although there was nothing special to do after work, she was glad to be heading home. "You leaving already?" Paul asked as he left his office and stopped before her desk. She nodded and reached down to slide her feet into her flats properly. "Yeah, was there something you needed?" "No, I was just wondering if you needed a ride." She raised an eyebrow at him. "You aren't even going my way." "I know," he shrugged. "I could still drop you off, though." Cecilia hid a smile as she stood up and picked up her bag. "Thanks for the offer, Paul, but I'll just take a ride." He nodded, not wanting to press her further. "Alright then. See you tomorrow, Cecilia." "See you tomorrow, sir." She waited for him to leave the office and then waited a couple more minutes to ensure he'd gotten into an elevator before exiting the space. She desperately wanted to check her
