In the evening, a dazzling lightning bolt flashed across the sky, followed by deafening thunder. One strike after another, it seemed as though the storm would never cease. Eleanor lay on her bed, listening to the tumultuous weather, her mind adrift in contemplation.
Suddenly, an idea struck her, and she leapt out of bed, clutching her pillow tightly. "The opportunity has come. God is helping me!" she murmured to herself. She hurried to Robert's bedroom next door. As she stood before the large, silent door, a wave of nervousness washed over her.
After a moment's hesitation, she reached out and knocked gently. "Bob?" she called out tentatively, but received no answer. "Bob, are you asleep? There's thunder outside. It's so loud... I'm a little scared..." Her voice wavered, tinged with tears.
Eleanor shivered as goosebumps prickled her skin. She was surprised at how convincingly she could sound frightened, even rivaling Catherina's performances. The room remained silent, leaving Eleanor lo
