Linet and the other maids stood motionless, ignoring Eleanor.
Sensing the hostility but not wanting to escalate the situation, Eleanor refrained from confrontation. She reached for her phone to call Robert, only to realize they hadn't exchanged numbers yet.
Feeling a rare sense of helplessness, Eleanor hesitated. It seemed impolite to simply barge in. Fortunately, Robert had anticipated her arrival and asked Jacob to keep an eye on the proceedings.
Suddenly, the hall buzzed with activity, and Robert appeared.
"Fourth Young Master! Why are you here?" Linet's expression brightened instantly, her face glowing with joy.
Robert bypassed her and focused on Eleanor at the door. The young woman, initially frowning with worry, lit up with a bright, foolish smile upon seeing him. Robert felt a sudden warmth at her genuine delight.
"From now on, this is your home too. You can come in directly; no need to inform me."
