Gordon overheard their conversation. He ignored Emily and chased after Mayra. He kept following her as she lined up at the cafeteria. When she started eating, he sat nearby and waited for her to be done. After the meal, he continued following her. To avoid Gordon, Mayra purposefully discussed the math exam questions with the student walking in front of her. He didn't have a chance to talk with her, so he had no choice but to watch her leave. Entering the classroom, she noticed Emily secretly munching on some snacks and reading a romance novel while hiding behind a physics textbook. Mayra sat down quietly and opened her book to preview the content of the next lesson. Emily approached her and said, "Mayra, why are you so hardworking? Compared to you, I feel like a waste. If Gordon can't tutor me, how about you help me? I can pay you for tutoring. "If it's too troublesome, you can bring me along when you and Gordon go to the library next time. We're long-term deskmates, after all. P
