Chapter You're Only Worth 500 Dollars
Once Randall's name was mentioned, Yvette's face flashed red, her eyes taking on a sharper edge.
"Owen, let me remind you. Don't drag him into our business. How many times do I have to tell you this?"
Her gaze was icy enough to freeze me if they could, and her words were just as cold, like the dead of winter.
In the past, I would have apologized immediately, as I didn't want to make it awkward between us.

I couldn't take it anymore and shot her a glare. "Yvette, you're with Randall now, so just let me go. A divorce is best for both of us."
Yvette's face turned even uglier after she heard this, clearly annoyed, her lips tightly pressed together. "It's none of your business."
As soon as I heard that, anger flared inside me. I took two steps toward her and glared at her. "I came here expecting a divorce. Since you keep dragging this on, then give me some money."
